Ok so i decided i needed to change this thing, and actually put some thought into it.

How do i start lets seee.. *thinks* Well lets just start off by saying I'm a guitar player. My friends have now come up for a name for the place i go to when i play the guitar lol. I am... an average person, pretty laid back for the most part, but wild on occasion. I recently turned 65. Began receiving SS checks. I have joined all of those people that said out loud �where did all the years go?� I supersized my glass of wine and gave all this some thought. I don't HAVE to go to work. I don't HAVE to get up at an appointed time. I don't HAVE to do s***. While enjoying the benefits of the second glass it came to me that I had just been given a ream of paper (with lots more on demand) on which I could write my future with complete freedom. My imagination would be my only limit and my imagination has no limits.
I began making a list of things that I want to do. Maybe you have too. As I raced across the pages writing and writing it struck me that the order of each day should be having fun. Amazing how such a simple thing escaped me until now. I dedicated a section to "Fun Things I Like To Do". Reviewing this lengthy list it dawned on me that the majority of activities require having a partner. Maybe you are way ahead of me and have known this for some time but it seems that I am now just beginning to learn who I am. Mind bending.
It's apparent to me that if I am to have all this fun I have to get proactive and find a partner. I've begun. I've torn up my list of "Fun Things I Like To Do" and replaced it with "Fun Things We Like To Do." I smiled at this thinking that "We" is such a great word for being so small.

Hmmmmmm, hard to talk about myself. I consider myself an honest person who truely values family and friendship. I was raised in Alaska and moved to the Olympic Peninsula 10 years ago with my kids. As long as I am surrounded by the people I love I dont need much else.

Hi! Just thought I would try this out and see what happens. I have been single for the last year and a half, and feel that it's time to get back out there again. My son does, and always will come first. So you have to like being around children.

This is what I know, I love my friends, family, and my cat. They are always there for me and I will do the same for them. The ones that know me best say that I have one of the kindest and biggest hearts that they know. My friends also know that they can count on me when they need someone to talk to or just be there. I am starting my 4th quarter at Peninsula College. I'm shooting for an AA degree in Criminal Justice. I am so excited, I finished my 3rd quarter with a 3.17 GPA for the quarter. I've been working out for quite a while now and it has become a M-F routine for me. I have lost over 30 pounds and 4 pant sizes now - I look and feel incredible. I must say; I am in the best shape of my life! I am very proud of where I am in life and can only expect it to get better!!

HI Im Jackie I live in chimacum(by Port Townsend) Im currently thinking about moving back to my home town, Bellingham, and going back to school for computer programming. Untill then Im a stay-at-home AUNT I take care of 7 kids the youngest is 22 months and the oldest is 9(I know Im crazy but my siblings rather me watch them then a daycare) I have fibromyagia so I cant do alot of the stuff I did when I was younger so now Ive pretty much became a homebody I live on 19 acres I have a mudpit out back and lots of trails I take my truck or dirtbike on. As I said before I watch 7 kids 3 of them I have 4-5 days a week over night depending on what days my ex sister-in-law works so I spend alot of time playing with the kids and building treeforts, walking trails in the woods catching frogs and changing diapers. Hey, I'm a bookaholic, I spend a bit too much time on my PC, and I love to listen to music all day long (any kind). I'm outgoing once you get to know me, though I can sometimes go hours without saying anything at all if I don't feel the need. Since before Thanksgiving Ive been dealing with some serious medical issues. I had surgery 2 days before Christmas, and 3 days afterwards I was diagnosed with a blood clot. I have had an open wound on my bottom for nearly 2 months, and been on blood thinners nearly as long. Unfortunately I am not healing as well as I should, and I have no idea when Ill be healed enough to go back to work and my life.

Iam truely outgoing and love to play Im intrested in acting and spending nights just hanging out. Mostly at home unless theres something to do. I work hard and love what I do. My kids are the best things in my life they have brought me through all the hard times in my life. I am who I am and love who I am. I'm not in the most stable place right now as far as living and working go, so I'm likely not a great bet for a serious relationship right now. But, things never go as I expect, so I'll try to avoid any specific expectations.

I am more interested in you than describing myself. All I do is write, paint, play the violin, cook, smoke cigarettes, send off letters to old friends and literary publications. I can have a conversation about nearly any topic except sports or pop music, my favorites of course revolve around art, literature, philosophy, history, sociology, psychology, nature, and any blendings of the esoteric aspects of life that others might call weird or off the beaten conversation. I am always interested in talking to strong and intelligent females, I love women who can analyze things beyond the kind of cologne a man wears or what sitcom actor he looks like. Also, I would love to find somebody who could make me laugh, despite my odd sense of humor.

I am the father of two girls, that mean the world to me. I am into photography and love heading wherever it takes to get a good shot. I have been out of relationships for 5 years and donâ??t travel in enough social to meet anyone. My name is Riley. I am a really laid back. I hate getting into confrontations. I moved here to Port Townsend last August after i graduated from high school.

I'm not really sure how to describe me, I usually come off as very calm and unemotional, which is usually the case. I don't get angry or excited easily, but when I do care about something or someone, I am very passionate about it. I'm usually very laid back about everything, and I don't like telling others how to live their life. I've never been offended before in my life, there is no need to pull punches or tiptoe around any subject.

Now that I'm completely on my own, not going to school every day, no air force. I realized that I really don't meet people anymore, which is why I'm here.

What I do more than anything is read, I read almost a novel a day. I collect movies, and find myself interested in pretty much any subject. I recently found out I have this connective tissue thing, which made me really interested in studying medicine. I spent 4 years in the Air Force. so now I have the GI Bill to pay for school. I just need to find the right one, and figure out what exactly I want to learn.

Writing about me isn't something i'm very comfortable with but here it is. I'm pretty laid back (no drama!), spontaneous, I love new adventures, and new experiences! I have many and varied interests including art, movies, gardening, dancing, music (listening, playing, researching), cooking and eating, and exploring new places. Too many to list really. I'm very tolerant of others beliefs, and so on. Helpful, creative, affectionate, and a quirky sense of humor. I can also be sarcastic...in a funny way, not a mean way:) I appreciate irony and I can actually laugh at myself. I love my kids and my dog, and I guess that's me in a very small nutshell. I am a 45 year old man that is ready to start living the dream of non pretentious behavior. I tend to like natural foods and love to cook. I have spent a great deal of my life trying to fit in to the mold that this great culture has shown me. However, I know now that I must stay true to the calling I have always felt. Compassion, generosity and understanding are the key components that keep me smiling and knowing that eventually I will be rewarded with undying friendships as opposed to lifetime aquaintences that are on the same slide down to the water that drowns many. Geez, writing about myself always seemed weird, remember those lame essays we had to write in high school. I'll get back to this...

I have been a writer all my life and think I may be discovered when I am an old lady (chuckle). I have published short work. I wrote a trilogy and years later went to college in my early 50's. My professor thanked me for writing the trilogy (seven rewrites)and giving it to the world, so there is hope it will make it one day.

I love birds, sea, water, nature, cooking, gardening, boating, rivers and oceans are double cool. My loves are not necessarily in that order. I also love planting trees, feeding crows (they store food like squirrels) and I collect excellent movies; love the art form of well done movies. Was raised around a well known artist (my older sister). I had to pose a lot. *sigh again, but with no smile, because it was terrible to sit still when you are a child, but good for discipline.

There is so much to say, but that is a good brief summary of me.

I like satin and lace, short skirts and high heels, Gortex and Nomex. I love to race my car, road course and drag racing. I like Aikido and tennis, brisk walks and cruising on my Honda '90. I love my kids.

I like to see movies, go to concerts and music festivals. I enjoy live opera. I like my popcorn with butter and salt.

I work in a story book town in a story book forest with story book children.
